This exists in most other Paradox titles I think? So you can click on a county/duchy/whatever and see, for example, how relatively strong a military there is in the surrounding areas? Or how favourable or opposed the surrounding dukes are to the owner of that duchy? I am Emir Yahya surrounded by Spanish foes and it seems I have to click on all five Spanish kings to see how strong they are, plus click around my co-Muslims to see how friendly they are to me?

When you’re about to declare war it shows your allies. I wish there was a map mode like the one in cl2 that shows who you can attack and who’s your ally.
I’d even suggest adding more colours to such a map mode to show who you can raid and who can attack you.

I wonder whether Paradox have ever thought of doing a succession map mode which shows you what things will look like in each realm when the current ruler dies i.e. new realms, partitions, new rulers etc.

It would be very complex to implement, but extremely useful for players to plan out exactly how they want things to play out upon succession.
