Hi,

Surviving Mars' Xbox One digital license doesn't seem to allow you to roam to other consoles. If you've started the game on one console, trying to boot it up on another causes the game to crash.

I have an Xbox One X as my main console, that runs Surviving Mars fine. However, when I attempt to load a game on my second console, an Xbox One S downstairs, the game just crashes and crashes and crashes.

Cheers!

Have you guys tried Deleting all saved games on both consoles. Going offline, signing out and then Forcing the game/s to Sync with one another when you log in with your Xbox Live Account upon booting up the game? It seemed to work for me!

So try deleting both console saves, sign out, sign back in, and boot each game separately? Want to try to make sure I am understanding this. I'll try it tomorrow and let you know if it works.

Yes that's right. - - However not simultaneously, like you don't have to have Both consoles running at the Same Time for them to sync lol
Sorry should have made it more clearer!
Just remember to sign out of Xbox X. Or S. Or Xbox One Original before you attempt to sync. It worked for me the first time, but that's because I sign off all the time before I turn off my console.

Hope it does work for you!!

so I tried whats listed here and its not working at all. Home Xbox-1X is in living room, alt Xbox-1 is in my bedroom so I can play when I want and let the house sleep. I would love for this to be figured out and patched. thank you!

Bummer I'm so sorry bro! Maybe just switch consoles, have the X bedroom and alt Xbox One in living room. I know it's a pain to have to keep moving console machines about.. But it's a simple workaround for now? :/

P. S did you actually delete All Saves (Manage Game - Delete Saves and Profile on HDD) and also Hard-Reset to clear Cache? (unplugging power cable and waiting up to 15 seconds before plugging back in and powering on) It usually works after that. I tried numerous ways to make it work for me. But it does now! I also set my Xbox One X settings to work off of External HDD instead of internal. I dunno if that made any differences though! Just thought I'd mention it.

Yeah so far I'm having the same issue on xbox. Had it working on old xbox but since upgrading to the new console xbox one s, it crashed on launch. Tried fresh install and deleting saves with no luck. :(

No clue if this might help, but an old game of mine had major sync issues. To resolve we had to delete the save file from the xbox as follows:
Go to xbox you want to play on. Delete save (that xbox, not everywhere as that deletes the cloud) twice. First time will leave some fragmented info about the game on the xbox for some damned reason. Once we resolved this issue, the games synced and worked fine.
No clue if this will work on this, just hope it might as a workaround for now.
