And maybey something more centralised and powerfull like England.
I think Sweden can be fun too. Great potential, lots of crusading in the Baltic and Finland :D

1) The dinasty of Rurik (I believe that was the one that ruled Kiev)
2) The Comnens (Save the Eastern Roman Empire from the Norman bastards and the infidels)
3) The Asens of Bulgaria or Stephen Dusan of Serbia (or any orthodox dinasty for that matter)
4) Capetians (yes, the subjects of the schismatic Patriarch of Rome have a place in my heart too :) ).
5) Whomever controls Wallachia so I can eventually play the Bessarabs.

3.German dynasty- Habsburgs or some dynasty in bavaria
4.some iberian kingdom, form the western roman empire in spain
5.russia- The principalty in kiev, avoid the hordes to eat russia piece by piece

Try the FAQ for a starter. It's mentioned there. Then there's the preview/interview (link in the meta-thread)...

The reason for this is that CK will be focused on dynasties rather than "countries" (since countries as we know the term now didn't exist back then). The religious Orders were not controlled by dynasties but by elected Grandmasters, very much the same as with the Pope.

That's not saying you cant' get somone from your dynasty elected, hence control them for a while :)
