3) The Byzantines, I suppose
4) Some Outremer scenario

Apart from the problems in counting (you have six) and spelling (it's Premyslid) you'll probably run into a few other problems too... ;)

We don't know if the counts of Blois will be playable, but the seriously doubt we'll see the Habsburgs - in 1066 they were lowly counts... The Viscontis didn't come to power until the late 13th century so they are definitely out of the picture.

The Hohenstaufen's a bit tricky... Frederick I Hohenstaufen is in his teens in 1066, and the Duchy of Swabia is in his mothers family's hands. I guess they should be possible to play and make sure Frederick is designated heir... :)
 
I'd actually like to play Raymond of Touluse's dynasty. The Kingdom of Occitania, stretching from Murcia to Piemonte, sounds rather nice, wouldn't you say? (consider this an addendu m to my post).
 
hmmmm... first 5 games...

1. Something German - Maybe something Pomernisch
2. Austria - The Babenburg lands?
3. Milan - Whatever form theyre in
4. Something Scandanavian - Swedish more specifically
5. Either Saxony or England (The Norman bunch)
 
Byzantium and Norway first, that's for sure!:D
Then I'm not sure. Might try the Normans early though, but not as the first.:eek:
 
OK, my first 5 games would be:
1. Hohenstaufen, rulers of the Holy Roman Empire
2. The Other Roman Empire, Byzantium
3. if they are playable, the Babenberger (Austrian dynasty)
4. Kings of England, I want to kick French butt
5. Kings of France, I want to kick English butt

Scotland might be more fun for that one. No nasty streach of water to cross if you want to burn London. :)

Yes, but I see it kind of a challenge to follow as French king in William the Conqueror's footsteps. He was himself a French noble after all :D

dont be so hard on the guy, havard. we all make mistakes ;) and if you want to nit-pick you picked :)D) the wrong name. it should be Premysl, Premyslovci, Premyslovsky.
 
For me:
1)Castile: All the Reconquista to do!. Try to kick out the moors as fast as possible.
2)Aragon: Expansion in the Mediterranean.
3)Byzantium: As everybody here I want to rebuild the empire.
4)Some muslim taifa in Spain: Rebuild the Caliphate and survive the almoravid and almohad invasion. A tough cookie!.
5)Sicily.
