@Voffvoffhunden How viable of a strategy is going for Whole of Body as your 1st completed tree for every character (even characters without a learning education)? Even if you don't have a learning education improving the experience gain, it should pay off long term since having a large amount of health corresponds to a long life, long life corresponds to more experience gained for other trees.
It takes approximately 25 years to complete 1 focus tree without any experience bonuses or lifestyle events. While the Health bonus from Whole of Body is substantial, it is most certainly not enough to tack an extra 25 years onto your natural lifespan.

As a result, taking Whole of Body purely in an attempt to get extra perks in completely different lifestyle trees is counterproductive. That said, there are other benefits in living to be a ripe old age...
Granted, this is all assuming you don't need certain perks to keep your council/realm happy.
I mean, do you really need anything? :p

In all seriousness, while many perks are extraordinarily useful, none of them should be so powerful as to be considered mandatory (and indeed, CK3 has never been balanced with the expectation of players always having a certain perk unlocked).

I understand what you've said, but is the benefit enough that you can then still fill out 2 trees related to your education trait? As in, the only "extra perks" are the ones for the Whole of Body tree you invested in decades ago
No.

If you take any perks in Whole of Body, that inherently means you will end up sacrificing perks in another tree. The opportunity cost may be less for Whole of Body than other perk trees, but it is still there, and still substantial enough that you will always 'lose out' on perks you could have had in other trees if you take the ones in Whole of Body instead. Remember:
While the Health bonus from Whole of Body is substantial, it is most certainly not enough to tack an extra 25 years onto your natural lifespan..
There are no free perks in life.

Will it affect portraits? I mean, for example, when a child become immortal, will his or her portrait be fixed as a child and never become adult? As is in CK2.

Portrait age is static if you're immortal, yes.
Child portraits are no longer a thing though; portraits age gradually. But a 10 year old immortal will forever look 10. Unless the mod changes their effective age, which CK3 supports.
