"World Map Gameplay “Arcane Inspiration” - Spells gain a Potential when first cast. This potential can be exploited once the spell has been used enough, locking it away for 10 turns."

Does that mean the spell's uncastable for those ten turns?

It does! The idea with this subculture is that players want to research lots of spells and cycle through them, rather than always relying on the same spells through the session.

Are there any plans to increase the tier 2 dark culture's warlock unit's "weakening bolts" damage since now all battle mages for dark culture will be able to apply weakening at the 90% rate or are they going to continue to have the 2 damage less than other tier 2 battle mages?

We might have missed that! I'll pass it on and we'll see :)

Did you fix the issue of Sylvan Wolf Temples only being able to create Highland Forests?

I've been told that this is intentional! Each primal animal iss assocaited with a certain terrain type, and the sylvan wolf is assocaited with Highland Forests.

What does this mean? Do cities grow faster or slower?

The person who made the changes is off right now, but I dug through some logs and found this comment, from the 12th of April:

Changed food requirements for population to generally be lower, depending on which pop it is, the largest decrease is to decrease 15 pop, which now requires about half the food.

So, cities should grow faster now!

That it's a single terrain type is as advertised, except that in gameplay and all descriptions, all forest is one type of terrain. So the problem is if you like any other sort of forest, you can't get it right now. That means instead of having a primal nation that's in tune with the nature of the map, you get an invasive form that overwrites what's there. Thematically, way worse. Plus if you have mixtures of highland forest and other forests, for example jungle, it looks pretty bad aesthetically. I can't imagine it would ever be in scope to make a specific primal variant for the aesthetic variations of each gameplay terrain, so I think it would be nice if the only forest totem we've got had a broader focus

That's a fair point! I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this decision to be honest (I thought it just worked on forests in general) but I can pass your comments on to the person who made the system!

But what if we want to play Sylvan Wolf Primal with regular forests? I personally don't like the way Highlands Forests look, and they don't fit my intended rp.

Just pretend this is replied to in the post above :)

Under the new levelling system, units evolve at legend rank, when they will have the stats of a unit that is 2 ranks higher than them.
However, Peasant Pikemen and Inferno Puppies evolve into Tier 2 units. So when they reach legend rank they will be effectively levelled down from an effective Tier 3 unit to an effective Tier 2.
Nothing in the patch notes said that this would be addressed.

I would love it if Peasant Pikemen evolved into a unique tier 3 unit, instead of a t2 shield unit as the change in unit type has also always felt very strange for it.

We've been changing so many things, I don't think we considered this. It's something we can look at in the future!

I would also love a better evolve target for the pikeman, regardless of tier, I don't like a pikeman transforming into a shield unit.
