Heya!

As a passionate reader of almost every single DD, I have noticed that patch notes are very hard to read. I think it would be much better for readers to read it like this one:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...the-dead-and-1-12-1-scythe-changelog.1626110/

Or this:

That aside, I can't wait to try the full game on release, it seems juicy. Best of luck, folks!
Thank you for your feedback, will see if we cant format it differently in the future!

I actually see some of my suggestions/nitpicks in the list. Impressive! Maybe I should rethink my decision in favor of purchasing the game after all. Best of luck with the actual release!
We have been watching all platforms for feedback about the game, so that we can take that and improve the game!

Will the Combat Viewer also be completely deactivatable? I generally don't want to watch the battles. I'm only interested in the results.
For now, you can right click the combat icons to dismiss the combat events. Quality of life improvements on the Combat Viewer are on our list.

Those are some meaty patchnotes. I like that!

Still it's funny seeing patches for later eras, while demo was for earlier. I honestly cannot wait to try Millennia!
As we have our Closed Beta still running, they are testing later parts of the game, and we are implementing their feedback.

C Prompt is of course also doing their own internal testing and implementing changes due to that.

The line about Raiders being too weak is presumably satire.

I'm a bit disappointed as the list of changes doesn't seem to respond to the most significant and widespread player concerns. But I'm pleased to see Devs focused on polishing. The demo was relatively polished and I hope to see that continue.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm missing your point, but which concerns do you think are most significant and widespread?

Thirdly, many people have mentioned that the game flows too quickly and we don't have enough time to enjoy each Age. I don't know whether that is a universal opinion, but I do think a significant minority would like an option to have Ages last longer.
The only thing here that I can talk concretely about is this, and I think I (or someone?) has said in a Q&A or on the Discord, the goal for each age is to last 50 turns, but ages will also fluctuate based on player behavior. Some ages you might want to rush out of, it it's not suited to your strategy or you want the next age to come along because it does compliment you. Other ages will take longer because players want to play with the toys and get distracted from advancing to the next age. (AI will also fluctuate based on difficulty and if they need to spend resources playing with age-specific mechanics)

The first two ages are much shorter than the rest of the game, and are intended as on-ramps to get you started and into the variant ages sooner.

To your other points, all I can really say is that both of those problems are seeped in foundational choices we've made while making the game, and making any significant changes to how NS's work or how the CV looks aren't something we can quickly pivot on.

Personally, I understand exactly what you're talking about with NS ideals costing the resources you want to spend on powers, and you'll see that some NS's rely more/less on power usage or are in domains with powers you want to use more/less frequently, which makes them easier/harder to progress through. And on the CV, we've definitely seen and read a lot feedback.
