Hello everyone
There has been a lot of confusion since our last article about the livery vote. It seems that you know that the aircraft models chosen for Singapura Airlines are supposed to be Long Haul planes and that you were a bit confused by them.
So it's time to officially confirm it:
Singapura Airlines, which we built together, and a second realistic airline that we are working on in parallel, will be our first two Long Haul airlines in the game.
But that's not all: we've prepared a visual to recap what we're working on and when you can expect to see it in-game.
Before we talk about the LH, let's discuss the series of updates to our existing airlines.
Skyways and Orient were the last two airlines to need an update to give them unique buildings in line with the art direction we have chosen for their liveries. We'll give them the same treatment we gave Ryoko and Worldwide: a temporary deactivation will be necessary while we reset their Airline Pass in order to integrate the Blueprints of the new buildings.
If you've already unlocked it, you won't need to unlock it a second time, and you'll be able to collect the Airline Pass rewards a second time. However, you will keep your relationship level!
The next update is for Skyways. We have reactivated it today, and here is the summary of the new features that will arrive at your airport with this airline:
The Orient update will come later, but we have already started working on it. According to our classification, it will be a Fantasy airline, inspired by the aesthetics associated with The Arabian Nights.
Let's now talk about the Long Haul.
We will present everything in detail when we get closer to the release, but we can already say that you will be able to install the boarding gate and the Long Haul ramp directly in your terminal.
In addition, there will be a parallel update that will bring baggage handling, a service that most airlines including Long Haul will require. Some PAX will have nice suitcases and will need to check them in at boarding and pick them up afterward. So you will need to set up the carousels for PAX to retrieve their luggage.
You have to deposit your luggage at the boarding and recover it upon arrival. Remember, it's still in WIP.

In addition, we have also decided to devote more time to small and very complex bugs. We are currently investigating the issue of canceled flights in order to solve the problems of contract breaches. We will come back soon with more information about our bug hunt. In the meantime, you can always report a bug on our Discord and check our Trello bug tracking.
We've also indicated several things that are in our pipeline. These are the things that the long process of working on is underway but it's too early to commit to a release window and share more details.
Finally, we've heard from you about your need for more space and/or a new terminal. This is the second most recurring request after the LHs and we know it will come up again now that we have made them official.
As you know, Airport Simulator with its 3D buildings is quite a heavy game in terms of memory and Internet data. We have to work on it in order to increase the space you have to build your airport. This optimization work is done in successive waves of improvements, and we have already started it since the winter, but we will still spend time on it.
Once we have reached our goals on this point, we will come back to you to share some news about what we'll do, and our plans to release this update.
We'll see you soon here for more information on LH, and in the meantime, you can join us on social networks to discuss this announcement:
