The AI is already braindead why make it even easier for the player? And it's not like anyone actualyl ends up as an ai vassal in the vanilla game.
WTf.....why.This will make the AI even worse. They should focus on research more not less.
Nice big update, but one question...
what does this exactly mean?
"Fixed fleet speed being dictated by the first ship in the fleet instead of the slowest one."
You build one corvette per fleet first and then they all fly at corvette speeds?
All these civic changes, but nothing for Megacorps.![]()
All these civic changes, but nothing for Megacorps.![]()
Will the change for vassals also work for liberation wars?
Or are we going for a catch and release?
Is an Ecumenopolis considered an actual artificial world or only in flavor? I couldn't attend the Q/A so I'm asking just to be sure.
Neither. Fleets will now move at the slowest speed of any ship in the fleet.* Fixed fleet speed being dictated by the first ship in the fleet instead of the slowest one.
It is very good and reasonable change. But to be clear, which is the true determinant of the fleet speed for 3.1?
A) Sublight speed of the SLOWEST ship in the fleet
B) Sublight speed of the LARGEST ship in the fleet
I mean that the largest ships are not always slowest.
Save games may load, but there is no guarantee regarding their stablility in the new version.Great looking patch! Any word on savegame compatibility?
It is absolutely the A option!...Isn't that just the A) option? Or did I misread something?
Are we going to get ship upgrade order fixed?
Presently, Titans and Battleships start last, despite taking the longest.
Might be related to priority order for building when reinforcing fleets, where Corvettes will be prioritized over larger ships. (which can be partially mitigated by what order you saved ship designs--older designs get higher build priority)
Still no fix listed for federation fleets appearing to take up empire fleet capacity in the fleet management screen, or other various issues with that screen. No more orphaned fleets due to combat is huge, though.
