Sometimes when I play in the infield I keep the Strike/Ball/Out count in the dirt in front of me.
I once had an umpire lose the ball strike count. I was at a full count, and somehow he lost a 'ball'. I ended up being called out on strikes after the 4th ball... My dug out was going nuts, the other team was in hysterics... The ump refused to admit he made the mistake, showing me the little clicker in his pocket... The one he forgot to use.
