Actually, it's worse than just a crap vote the analysis is misleading. If we look a little further than just the winner of the vote we see that the runner up is a goodie.

If walrus is a baddie - and he might well be - then you'd be more likely to find his packmates amongst the EL-voters. And if walrus is a goodie why would there be any reason for baddies to vote either of them, why not just as well throw away their vote or vote the 2nd runner up or something.

I expect better of you, randakar, when you are a goodie so I will have to assume you are doing this deliberately to confuse the village (isn't having a reputation for being a good player a bitch?)

True, we don't know walrus' allegiance in this game. He has been voted on a lot though, and from that and behaviour I don't think he is bad.

Wolves often like to spread their votes around. The odds of there being a baddie lurking in a list of otherwise known goodie voters are pretty decent, usually.
And I used that list because we know about the other voters on there.

I expect better of you, randakar, when you are a goodie so I will have to assume you are doing this deliberately to confuse the village (isn't having a reputation for being a good player a bitch?)

The first post says nothing about witnesses and things along those lines. But it does say this:

back up scanner: will be assigned to a particular scanner, wont know the scanne personr but will know they are destined to take over after their master dies. Can be scanned by their master only, all other scans wont show anything about their role until they are active and then they can be scanned as roles allow.
