F***, lost track of time. Apologies for the no-vote. Now, I need to look up a certain Lite game, where EL, randy, myself, and johho (?) were packmates, and something similar to what is happening now with EL took place, and ended in a Stalingrad.

Yeah, I really don't think E_L is a wolf.

Now taii...hmm.

Day 2 - Deadline

(6) Snoopdogg - Capt. Kiwi (241), Randakar (237, 271), Kingepyon (281), Nautilu (282), Eternaly_Lost (278, 288), the_hdk (246)

(1) Reis91 - Trespoe (272)

My vote then...?

Really, making me seer is like making marty seer. Getting to day four would be an achievement.

Not blaming, just considering. We obviously have more work to do to find wolves. And so far we've accomplished running up the same person twice in a row, which will hurt analysis later.

I said I wasn't expecting people to vote him, don't make this my fault. If anything, the fact that he escaped with his life again makes him even more suspicious in my mind.

If I had the time I would point out the guys who saved him, but I don't. Maybe tomorrow.

I already said I'm not blaming you. Just considering your actions. Pinning this on you would be a part of the consideration. I've only taken a glance.

And yes, him being a wolf is still a possibility. Consideration is needed.

Besides, you still did vote him and the vote did stick, so you still have SOME responsibility for the vote being there. Especially since it attracted votes like Yakman's.

Though, Yakman should be questioned for that, first.

Also, we can kick off by prosecuting King, based on the above votecount alone. He was instrumental in lynching villagers over someone whose identity is unknown, and was already starting a campaign to get Taii lynched and leave EL alone.

vote Kingepyon

Sigh, I didn't try to get him lynched, I'm trying to get people to consider him. Between his pushing the same person twice and the shenanigans at the deadline day 1, it certainly warrants it.

Edit: Also, lynching villagers means nothing. The Seer did the same thing. This doesn't mean I'm using it to claim innocence, but it's not a very solid reason to vote me.

@ Everyone

Reis missed a vote, which usually means being subbed. I've seen GMs sub players who are present but didn't vote, which has some merit, but my inclination is to leave such people in the game and so I will leave Reis in.

However I must express my severe disappointment: we were doing so well after a doldrums period over Christmas where no-voting was a big issue, and in the last Lite I was nearly tearing my hair out because vote data on several players was so incomplete due to serial no-votes. It's very hard for players to analyze properly if there are missed votes.

@ Mr. G

Apologies, I'm not sure how I missed your vote since I even compared it with other counts and checked twice... Thankfully it didn't change anything. I rather forgot to check the list to see who hadn't voted, which is always a good way to cross-check if you've missed anything.

@ Capt. Kiwi

When random.org landed on you, I thought "Uh oh" but what could I do? I handpicked the roles for CCV, but not for this game since people might have metagamed expecting a handpicked roster. So I obeyed the Random Number Gods' capricious whims.

@ Snoopdogg

Since your RP character was a Genestealer, on account of wanting to be a Zergling, I RP'd it that way. It kind of makes you a bad guy even though your role was a good guy... I don't mean to cause offense, since there's at least one GM out there who is a prick when he RPs people he doesn't like. My intention was simply to create interesting RP, and a Genestealer cult seemed good. Plus you got to kill a lot of Imperial Guardsmen with your bare claws - what's not to like, you went out swinging. Or pincering.

Nice update. It always makes an early death that little bit more bearable if the GM is trying to engage even the departing players. Especially when I obviously have no hope of subbing back in :)

oh yeah, about the game. I had the same thoughts as the others about the speed of EL being run up. Snoop got added to the list fast also. I am content to stay where I am. I would suggest that the seer scan the other one for the "switch at last minute to break the tie" ploy that has been used before.

I'm thinking the vote on snoop was more of a reaction to the suspicious way EL got run up than anything else.

F***, lost track of time. Apologies for the no-vote. Now, I need to look up a certain Lite game, where EL, randy, myself, and johho (?) were packmates, and something similar to what is happening now with EL took place, and ended in a Stalingrad.

Possibly. What happened in that game was rather instructive. Suspicious wolf gets voted by his packmates in order to make the village suspect shenanigans, and therefore go after a different candidate in force.
That doesn't happen a lot though .. but I do believe I talked about this very tactic in a different Lite game recently. It's possible that some folks picked up on that and decided to make that happen.
It would explain the wagon on EL yesterday. He was ahead by what - 3 votes or something?

Also, thanks a lot to the mindless villagers who did not heed my warning before running off to lynch snoopdogg. You just made our task way harder.

Your warning ..?

Yeah, I really don't think E_L is a wolf.

Now taii...hmm.

It would have been better if we had lynched EL, I think. He's got all the makings of a chew toy. Even if he's a wolf, people will focus on him to the detriment of everything else, and we'll get his packmates voting him soon if they haven't done so already.

My best suspects so far:

Kingepyon
Hdk
Najs
Trespoe

and EL, by the reason I referred in the previous post.

Discuss. I've got some work to do, be back later.

5 people. Why these?

It sounds quite possible that there are wolves in this list, but it highly depends on EL's allegiance I think. King and the_hdk voted snoopdogg yesterday. If we are going to look at wolves in the snoop runup, those may be good candidates, but Nautilu and me would fill that bill nicely as well.
And then there's the question of what happened on day 1. People who put EL in danger on day 1 would have to be discounted as EL's packmates, if EL is a wolf.

Your going to blame me... what....?

That's a bit of a vague accusation, don't you think?
I'd rather see something a bit more solid before we go after you, I think. Right now I don't really believe you a good suspect at all.

Not blaming, just considering. We obviously have more work to do to find wolves. And so far we've accomplished running up the same person twice in a row, which will hurt analysis later.

It'd be nice if your "considering" could actually refer to facts, instead of throwing vague noises in his direction.

I said I wasn't expecting people to vote him, don't make this my fault. If anything, the fact that he escaped with his life again makes him even more suspicious in my mind.

Sorry, I must be missing something. What are you referring to? EL?

If I had the time I would point out the guys who saved him, but I don't. Maybe tomorrow.

Well, the votecounts are pretty clear about who didn't vote EL, at least.
Presuming that that is who you are talking about ..

Besides, you still did vote him and the vote did stick, so you still have SOME responsibility for the vote being there. Especially since it attracted votes like Yakman's.

Though, Yakman should be questioned for that, first.

Yakman? Wait, he's playing this game?

Also, we can kick off by prosecuting King, based on the above votecount alone. He was instrumental in lynching villagers over someone whose identity is unknown, and was already starting a campaign to get Taii lynched and leave EL alone.

I definitely support this. Throwing out vague accusations like that, without actually referring to evidence?
Repeated votes on villagers is one thing, this is quite another.

Right now we don't have much better to go on. Do you?

reis91, knowing that the seer is dead, now takes control of the game. Unable of defending himself of yesterday's accusations of being a vote-turner, I vote for him today too.

Myeah. His activity level wasn't very high the past few days. Not even one single incoherent rant amongst his posts. Tsk ..
Anyway, supposedly the Seer did scan some people, and one or two scanned villagers may still be alive. It'd be nice if those people could come forward so we can take them off the suspect list.

Based on educated guesses, Nautilu, E_L, Mr. G and possibly Kingepyon are wolves. I'm probably wrong, but...

vote Nautilu

Can we please actually hear the basis for those "educated guesses"?
Because right now your case against nautilu consists of "he's possibly a wolf". Not exactly awesome.
Yeah, he also voted snoop yesterday. So that makes the case against him about as good as the case against anyone else who voted snoop over EL.

Vote Kingepyon

I don't need to kill the Seer to control the game. And you wouldn't notice the strings. However, I am not interested in absolute power.

Thank you for your kind mercy. The thing is, I've seen no-votes being skillfully used by EURO, as much as it pains me to praise him. And accidents happen. I completely lost track of time and thought I already had a placeholder.

I advise a two strikes, you're out policy, though, unless you think that no-vote tactics such as the ones EURO has employed in the past are gamey.
