in the /greece file of events there are some faulty event triggers in the turkey variant of the megali idea (mistakes made when copying the ottoman events to also account for turkey)

line 2217: event = { id = 907100 days = 40 } should be event = { id = 907163 days = 40 }

line 2239: command = { type = war which = OTT } should be command = { type = war which = TUR }

line 2709: command = { type = trigger which = 907122 } should be command = { type = trigger which = 907158 }

line 2939: command = { type = trigger which = 907124 } should be command = { type = trigger which = 907160 }


the lines u pointed are empty or have nothing to do with what u say, i had problems with the megali idea decision ,i had to reload the game otherwise it wouldnt even appear in the decision list
 
I need help installing the mod I extracted files to HOI3 mod folder is that what you do I downloaded the link that said something like ....... Thnx ....... forgot what it said

Well, your first clue that this isn't a HOI3 mod is that this is in the Darkest Hour forum, which has a completely different background than the HOI3 forum...
Also, I would understand if English wasn't your native language (and maybe it isn't and your location is just slightly misleading. If so, completely and totally dis-regard everything I'm about to say.), but as a resident of the United States you really should be able to type in better English. At the very least spell-check everything, it would point out a good few of your grammar errors that make your post somewhat hard to read.
 
No I was in a hurry I cant remember if it was to get to Football practice or school but I just read the thing quickly and then downloaded and did the mod quick because I must of heard wrong but in a video I heard about this mod and then heard something about HOI3 put the peices together and got HOI3 mod sorry

Personally, don't get HoI:III, I didn't enjoy it as much as Darkest Hour, and there are so many cool mods. Not to mention the community is still seething with hatred for the waiting for the latest 1.03 patch. :)
 
It's been said before, but this design philosophy is - to put it bluntly - very, very boring. The game - Darkest Hour - is about a second world war. Almost every other system in the game exists exclusively to help simulate war. When the war is either a pushover or brutally, unforgivingly hard, it isn't fun, and if it isn't "canon" for France to have a military that can at least give the Germans a run for their money, then canon needs to be changed.

Agreed. In the vanilla variant of HOI2, France had a very large army. A massive military buildup along the line of what Nazi Germany did is not too unbelievable in my mind for France, especially since Germany has become a world power with a lot of allies. Either that, or make events leading to the breakup of Mitteleuropa much more likely to fire.
 
People I know HOI3 sucks I have it I've played it thats why I wanted this mod to help my problem because I want to play a good WW2 scenario I've tried to play a WW1 scenario in EU3 but the AI just makes peace right away because it doesnt have the HOI3 Darkest Hour mechanic

Also, the link up for the extra/alternate flags has some that might conflict with the recent versions, mostly end game stuff. I guess it was made before the addition of new countries like Benikongo or Sahel, since it uses different flags for U03, U04, U05, etc - which I assume used to be the German political parties in the old versions.
 
Conquered India as the commune and I got an event that gave me cores on the "extra" Indian provinces, like Ceylon and the areas that Nepal and Bhutan occupied. However, I got a core on the actual original Bhutan province, and not the province they occupied. I had a claim on that province, but got a core on the other "Bhutanese" province. I probably explained this horribly....

Looking at the event that the commune gets after beating out the other two Indian states, I think I understand what you are getting at.

The event is 101263, "A New India is Born". It gives only one core for Bhutan (provid 1456, Punakha, the capital province), but it doesn't have it for the other one (Prov ID 1455, Itanagar).

That won't be too hard for them to correct and include in the next version.
