okay, so I guess I automatically get Opinion Maker then?

Also, I guess I'll Reject

the two person team in my eyes is the best one we have at succeeding and as such I don't think we should approve the first one that pops up.
I thought we determined last game that Take Responsibility didn't fire if it was round 1? Or was I delusional again?

reject

There is no reason to accept the very first team.

BTW although tamius ruled that way IIRC there was precedent for that in an earlier game. Just search the last game for that.

That's what the last GM did, yes. I didn't agree with that, though.
I personally think it should only not fire if it's the first card being handed out. (Which actually is the case here)
We should take this discussion to the general resistance thread though.

## voted by PM

Without JPR playing that habit has gone out the window, it seems. Tsk.

We really need to come up with a consistent rule for this. I'm not going to allow Tonka to take the 'Opinion Maker' as 'Take Responsibility' was played first, so it remains with you Aedan.

Just waiting for Cliges now.

Hey, Randy, don't forget about me!

voted privately

Err. What about you?
Maybe I wasn't being entirely clear - normally, JPR is the person who pushes for people to vote privately. Since he is GM'ing, however, he isn't pushing anymore, and everyone appears to be voting publicly. With a few notable exceptions ;-)
Personally I like the private voting as long as people explain the why of their votes afterwards. Which turned out to be a bit of a problem last game.

Can one really say "everyone...with a few notable exceptions" in a context where there are only 6 people involved?

I hate to be pedantic...actually no wait, I love it. That's the only reason I'm doing this.

Of course one can say it. I just did. :p

As for being correct: I count two people who voted privately so far. That qualifies as "a few". So even reading this literally, "everyone" minus "a few" are voting publicly.
I don't see the problem, mr. "I'm not even playing" marty99 ;-)

edit: While we're being pedants - there are 7 players in this game, thank you very much.

Cliges, why did wait so long without casting a vote? I'm curious since this is the team that you have proposed.

I hate to nitpick old bean, you are ever so right about the 7 players in the game and one must commend you on that, but I couldn't help noticing, begging your pardon, that Cliges did not state whether he had voted, though perchance I missed it amongst all the hustle and bustle.

And you are technically correct, but there's something that piqued me about it. Similar to whenever a commentator says, "he's one of the best forwards in the team" in a footballteam that has perhaps 5 forwards maximum. Although I dislike that way more than yours because it's also equivocating to an infuriating degree. I can't put my finger on why, but it just...ah! :p

So, I see you're playing again (obviously), will the community be seeing more of you, or was it just because jpr123 gang-pressed you into playing? ;)

Probably the latter.
I like my games to be a tad more casual nowadays. Forced deadlines don't agree with me anymore. Nor do the furious PM storms of werewolf.
However, a quick game now and then is acceptable. Just don't expect me to do it with any degree of predictability :p

Yeah, same here, but I found myself missing Lite so much I had to give it a go. I'm considering coming out of retirement for Lite, it's really not healthy for my university schedule, but ah well. You should try a Lite sometime soon whenever I'm playing, there are simply too many noobs for me to handle :p

Cliges's proposal of:
Cliges
Randakar

Was approved 4-3 as follows:

Approve: Cliges, Tamius, Gliomarto, Randakar
Reject: Tonka, Aedan, TNT

The mission was successful. There were no sabotages.

Round 2
Tonka is the new leader.

Tonka has the following cards to distribute:

No Confidence – One time use - The player to whom the Leader passes this card may use this card to reject an approved Mission team (successful Vote). Using this card counts as a failed Vote.

Overheard Conversation – Use immediately – The player to whom the Leader passes this card must publicly choose one player adjacent to him on the player list. This player's role will be revealed to him through PM by the GM.

Tonka may propose a new team once the cards have been distributed.

##No Confidence Goes to Randy
##Overheard Conversation goes to Aedan, Check whoever you want with it

and my Team is

Cliges
Randy
Aedan

btw if your wondering My gut told me to go with Aedan

Well, well, which one of you changed his default order?

Also, tonka, I'd like you to pass OC to tamius.
