Has Germany fired Destiny already? If they took Kiev and Brovary without even having fired Destiny it's not going to be pleasant for the Soviets... Those are some of the most defendable positions, if the Germans consolidates the bridgehead they will lose many divisions in the open plains behind the dnieper

Yes they have. No worries.... well.. still big worries.... ;)

Ah, the classic "one front at sea, one on the ground" trick. Nasty. Three navies, including the Japanese! The historical Brits never had to put up with that! The Axis plan seems to be to smash your navy and smash the Soviet army. Is there anything you could do to force them into a serious redeployment?

I'm very curious of what the naval count is between the axis and allies. Will the Brits even have a navy once the Americans join? Even the mighty American navy may not be able to defeat the axis navies alone. The Russians must defeat the German invasion and began to put serious pressure on the Germans or this could get ugly very fast. So far though, I'm really enjoying the way this game is playing out

Good question. I'm thinking hard about that myself. In the next chapter... coming up shortly... I'm playing a little trick on Axis panzer-movements. Not redeployment but making movement more difficult.

I don't have the exact count.... but its no good from Allied perspective. But I am building a lot of state of the art LCs and a couple of CVs so I still have two good stacks and a lot of spare screens. With the American navy it will at least come to some 50-50 - with higher build-speed on the Allies.

Thanks... I'm not as happy with how it plays out myself ;) but happy you like it.

The fightback begins! Hopefully that's the axis spear beginning to break now. But it is a long way to Berlin from either direction.

The Germans have made it pretty far, but kudos to the Soviets for avoiding those encirclements! It's going to be tough to crack Moscow with some of those massive soviet tank armies intact. I would have thought there would be more reinforcements on the way, however. I'm curious whether the Japanese will find another outlet for their unused troops. They could land in Europe to fill in the gaps between the German panzer armies, open up the Black Sea and cut off the Russians in the Caucuses or even trap the British in Scandinavia while they still have naval superiority. Japanese control of Norway and Sweden, now that would be something to see.

This would be a really good time for the Yanks to get involved. Those Japanese home islands, undefended.

I agree... it would be a VERY good time for the Yanks to get involved.

This is exciting. A very tense moment with the naval action there, but keep in mind that that the Axis can try to intercept your fleets if you try to evacuate your troops. Anyway, it's good to see the British land forces doing sth significant. The Germans don't seem to have many troops in the area, so you may get the opportunity to capture many provinces in the Benelux and France.

The main concern is: can he get reinforcements across? It's a short route between Rotterdam or Brugge and Dover, but still...

I wonder if you can chop off a bit of German IC while over there.

I share all your worries. But keep in mind - I don't concider this a sane move myself. It's a desperate gamble...

Yes, some IC, some manpower, force them to repairs... and most important... demand their attention.
