I should stop making toast.
Indeed you should; it's not healthy. Spread some liver paste over a piece of rye bread instead for your afternoon snack.

DAY FIVE
pQE16Yf.jpg

With the death of Magnus Carlsen, the world of chess was shaken. Could they really still triumph over Mother Russia? In their desperation, they turned against one of their oldest and most eccentric players, worried that Russia may have gotten to him. Sadly, he was innocent. Meanwhile, another player, seemingly so obstinate, was nowhere to be found. When the dust settled, his corpse was found in a Russian cell.

EURO the Grandmaster (Villager) is lynched by the players.
Tornadoli the Grandmaster (Villager) is autolynched.

NIGHT FIVE

With so few of the world's players remaining, nobody could protect against the surge. The spokesperson for Magnus Carlsen was found slain, and with his death, Russia achieved its victory.

Jacksonian Missionary the Grandmaster (Villager) is hunted in the night.

Gen. Marshall the Grandmaster (Villager) is overrun by Russians.
Claude LC the Grandmaster (Villager) is overrun by Russians.

So no warlock. Just torn being torn. Well done guys. Well done jackson.

EURO was scanned. Jackson knew that. He just did not show up. And torn killed himself.

I did not play well. But I left you with a chance.

GG to Hax and k59. I like to think I pulled off a pretty successful fishing attempt, but Hax managed to get the switch to EURO going without making it explicitly clear that he was a wolf. Deserved victory.

However, I'm very disappointed that we end up losing this way. Despite Hax' good play, he claimed GA which meant that today I would have known that he's a wolf. Which would mean an interesting day in which I needed to convince all the remaining villagers - and if I managed that, we could still have won.

GG and thanks for hosting Audren; also you obviously should have subbed me in instead of Torn originally.:p

Jackson why did you just sit on a wolf?

In which way did you play suboptimal?

Why didn't you out him?

Why didn't you out him?

5 minutes prior to deadline, Hax asked me "what are you doing?", at which point I suggested a switch to EURO. The fact that he obliged was obviously really suspicious, but what could I do? Out him 2 minutes to deadline while 2 villagers were AWOL?! Remember, the only other person with votes was... me.

I thought it was a better idea to pretend that we'd won a Warlock victory.

Actually, I'll get together all the PMs I sent this game. They're actually darn interesting.

Ah. Misunderstood you then. I thought you busted him yesterday.

Jackson did not sit on a wolf. EURO was a scanned villager. He should have directed the village lynch being the clear JL public face. Marshall was the most unlikely baddie and they should have worked together at least at some level.

My play messy. I wasted a scan target. The other scans were fine. My management of Health's killing could have been much more effective.
