Which division are you gonna master first?

So have you decided which one you will go for first? (from the limited ones we know yet)

or which sides division will go for first to master, axis or allies?

For me it will be the 101st and 21st to go for first before i decide on anything else.
 
I'm pretty sure PanzerLehr will be in.
Since I onced served in a similiar unit it will be what I'm going for.

On allied side probably British Armoured or Canadian Infantry.

All joking aside, I have a feeling that it will have some sweet goodies and obviously phase one deployment... AKA the MAN PHASE.


I'll probably 101st. I miss my light infantry deck from ALB so this should be good.
 
I'll probably play an Airborne division since high speed maneuver is my kind of schtick.

If they include the UK Guards Armored Division I will be so happy though. I need to use the Welsh, Coldstream and Irish Guards units
 
2nd SS Das Reich allways was a personal favorit taking belgrade with a single car But 12 ss hitlerjugend might be cool too a bunch of hitlerjugend boys commanded by good old crazy Kurt Meyer
 
101st Airborne. I'll most likely play everything since I like being flexible, but the 101st Airborne specifically were my childhood heroes, and I always internally scream like a little girl when American Paratroopers are in a game.

I also generally find tanks overrated, so I might be more inclined to anything involving infantry.
 
Does beg question what divisions will be included. IIRC it was said we will get dozen total.

For Germany we'll probably get:

Some static ID (confirmed)
21. Panzer (confirmed)
12. SS (confirmed)
17. SS ? (devs talked about it, probable)
Another panzer ?? (I'd consider Lehr most probable as there is SS panzer already and the confirmed heer panzer is "funny")

Allies:

101. Airborne (confirmed)
Some Scottish division ? (talked about, 51. ?)
Polish AD ? (I think mentioned, possible)
A Canadian division ?? (3.?)
Some British AD ?? (7. due to Cromwells? and obviously it's the desert rats)
Some US AD ?? (heavy or light?)
Some US ID ??

I'd go with 51st Highland or 3rd Canadian out of those. If Highlanders get Churchill support from one of the tank brgades I'd be more inclined to pick it rather than Canadians (who might be limited to Shermans and Stuarts from 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade).

I'll go for the 2nd French armored Division first. I've read a book about General Phillipe Leclerc and the 2iemé DB (2nd French armored Division), and therefor i am pretty hyped about their inlusion in the game.
 
I have to see them first, but will be one with good medium-light tanks for mobile warfare. Better if it has Stug's on it.
 
I guess it depends on my compatriots i play with and what side they force me to play as.

Allies;
If they go armoured, i will go 6th airborne and tetrarch till the cows come home (phase 3 i believe)
If they go infantry division, whatever lets me spam churchills.

So pretty much go recon or heavy support and fill out my buddies gaps.

Axis;
12 SS division simply so i can keep making hitler youth jokes to make them play allied ^^
 
Well, it's pity that allies lacked decent tanks like Panther or IS, so looks like i'll have to play nazi. Or some infantry-focused allies, but not 101st - it's too mainstream.

Implying the firefly/churchill mk VII isnt good, shame on you sir.

Actually the Allies had some pretty good designs, postponed due to USSR cries of "invade naow noob!" as the gamers would say. Said designs would come into use later on or post war.

Shermans with both 75mm and 76mm cannons, the British Firefly with the 17pdr. Churchill, Cromwell. They have plenty of decent tanks, and TD's like M10/Achilles.
