JCan, repeating "I'm a villager and therefore you must be a wolf" is not going to get you anywhere. aedan's not getting lynched without good reason, you're going to have to do better. How? I'm not sure. But you're going to have to if you really are a villager and want a village win.
I know, and exactly.

Weekends are a busy time for me IRL, so I'm basically a dead man walking now, and the game is all-but-won for the baddies.

I feel that JCan has rightly pointed out aedan is tunneling. aedan has been entirely focused on JCan for most of the game, very unusual for him.
Just because JCan has been saying it a lot doesn't make it true. JCan escaped the noose on day 2 because of a snipestorm, not because the village decided on a better candidate. No one (excepting JCan himself) argued that he was a bad candidate for the lynch, and several supported lynching him, either alone or in a tie with their prefered candidate. Now once he escaped the noose, Euro correctly pointed out that remaining fixed on the surviving candidates (JCan and JPR) would not be good for the village, and we should look elsewhere. I decided to hold back against going after JCan then, to see what candidates the village came up with. That the village decided to foolishly lock on Luft and Enkhuush occurred entirely without my involvement, and once I woke up today and caught up on the thread, I immediately moved to counter this stupidity. That I continued, and continue, to focus on JCan was because he had, and has, the best case against him, and when the village decides on candidates without my involvement they become braindead.

If I really felt compelled to make a defense of myself, the above would be an excellent startign point. If I'm a wolf, why bother going out in the open to push on JCan when the village is quite capable of cutting their own throats without outside involvement.

Maybe we have different definitions of tunneling, but I see it as "when a werewolf player, for whatever reason, focuses on lynching one other player over several days and rarely, if ever, talks about other players". That describes your behavior with JCan perfectly. It may be justified, in fact it probably is and that's why I'm voting JCan, but it is a point of suspicion for you that should not be ignored since you don't usually tunnel. It probably is only occurring because JCan should have already been lynched being the clearly most suspicious candidate and clearly suspicious candidates not being lynched does not happen often, not because you're a wolf though.

While I don't disagree overly much about the wording here in your definition of tunnelling (I would say tunnelling has entirely too negative a connotation to apply "whatever reason" in the above), I would say the last part is inaccurate to apply to me. I talk about other candidates. I evaluate the cases against them, and explain why I think the one against JCan is better. I was even willing to consider lynching Arkasas today until I saw Hax's colored votecount and I realised the extremely suspicious way the votes ended up on day 2.

I have now made peace with myself regarding this game. I no longer have the inclination to make any sort of further attempt to stop the village being scuppered by tunneling.

Good luck village. You'll need it, as I believe events have been too far twisted to fit a narrative for us villagers to be at all likely of winning now.

Adieu.

@Wagonlitz I would consider this to constitute a request for a substitute.

Btw Arkasas has the same type of vote history as and inactivity as Health, but I'm inclined to believe that he has other things to do and isn't that interested in the game. IMO I would rather see Health lynched over Arkasas.

What is the case on Arkasas?
What are your thoughts on JCan, the main candidate so far today and the one most discussed?

You do all remember this exists, right?
Do you? This is possibly the last day, and there is clear presentation of a case on JCan. At the very least the village today requires absolute unanimity, yet you haven't even voted when you complain about lack of action from others. I'm also annoyed at Hax and everyone who hasn't even posted since the last update. JCan is clearly going to be our lynch today unless a really compelling case on someone else is made, and spreading votes out in ignorance of possible parity is basically handing the wolves a win.

I know, I know. I just want to be sure before I vote. No second chances now.

Then what are you waiting for, confirmation from your packmates that you'll be giving up JCan? Or are you going to try and save him?

There is nothing to be added to the case that has not already been said. His defence feels really weak, especially

This really feels like the old "I'm so villagey I'm happy to die for the village" defence.

Vote JCan.

What? I'm one of few that posted since the update.
But you basically ignored the JCan case and gave very little relevant commentary to the main focus of today.
