There apparently actually is a member just called Aedan (as opposed to Aedan777.) If he ever logs on, he'll be confused. Glad as I am to be alive, I seem to have inadvertently provided a key vote to lynch the seer :(

Claude is just doing what he usually does, casting a vote at the literal last second. Speaking statistically, and that's all we can do given it was day 1 and there wasn't any incriminating voting evidence on anyone, trying to create a tie at the last second would be a poor move for a villager, more likely to kill a second villager than to net a wolf. Thus, Claude's vote was more likely trying to prevent wolves from sniping a second villager than to protect a packmate from getting sniped, so if anything I'm inclined to give him some very minor goodie credit.

So the wolves hunted Hax because he was clearly a villager, and it takes someone clever to know to hunt obvious villagers. Aedan is clever, therefore Aedan is a wolf QED? I find this... less than compelling. Kinda even sounds like conspiracy-theorist logic!

My current thinking is that the conspiracy theorists were happy with the day 1 lynch candidates and were hoping we'd blunder into a 3 way tie between me, Audren, and Health. Thus, I'm inclined to suspect the people who subtly advanced each of us into prominence (and Aramael, who did a blatant throw-away vote near the end), but you'll have to forgive me for being extra suspicious of my own voters. Of the three, I'm most suspicious of the Griffin -- who bumped me to 2 votes; Wagon often breaks ties while Rovsea's vote just feels random. Also, quietly following the less than perfect case against Claude is... interesting.

VOTE GRIFFIN

Also, are the non-voters gonna be subbed?

Alynkio, I see why you are suspicious, but I have no experience and see no other clever arguments (other than flawed logic of Euro).

By the way...

Unvote Claude, Vote Euro for flawed logic.

If the man is clever, it doesn't mean that he is a Conspiracy Theorist. You don't have to be clever to hunt a villager.
You're not making any sense. Please rephrase your defense of Aedan, that we may understand it.

Let's see:
Wolves know each other.
Therefore, they can't hunt another wolf by mistake.
Therefore, wolves always hunt villagers.
Your post:
Your hunt gave me valuable information. It revealed that the wolves are smart cookies. Your comment about being a wolf tipped me off that you were a likely villager. I suspect the wolves saw the same.

Therefore,

Vote Aedan (smart cookie)
You name the wolves "smart" just because they hunted a villager.
But wolves ALWAYS hunt villagers (if not a seer).
Therefore, your argument is invalid.

Oh, I see. You misunderstood my case. When a player is seen by the rest of the village as a likely villager, it is very hard to lynch them. Due to the zero-sum game that is werewolf, that means everyone else is more suspect because that one player is less so. In the calculations of a smart werewolf, it thus becomes necessary to remove such a player from the pool of the living by way of hunting. See, you're not savvy enough to get that, so I don't suspect you to be a werewolf (though you very well could be, it only takes one in the pack to make this move). Savvy Aedan would know this. Savvy Werewolf Aedan would execute this hunt.

He may come in soon enough and characterize my suspicions as wild or unhinged, but when this game is over and done with, I want you to pull this post from under my dead body and weep at the chance I gave you to lynch this werewolf.

My recomendation?

Oh, see the reason now. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Unvote Euro.

I've no doubt that Hax was hunted for being a likely goodie. Not sure that Aedan is any more implicated than the other four votes. But if I was a normal trying to infiltrate a perfectly innocent gathering of werewolves (sponsored by Nair (tm) Hair Removal Products), I'd probably want a name that, on the surface, sounded like something a stereotypical werewolf would use. Like Slicer, or Claw.

But being a no-good conspiracy theorist, I would probably spell it wrong.

So you're ignoring the game-related case for one based solely on the theme and roleplay?

If you're a wolf, this is a good move. If you're a villager, you're shooting us in the foot. Please consider the actual cases or come up with better ones. Doing anything else is virtually treason.

Claude voted for the seer.

On the other hand, the seer was already done when Claude voted, so it looks more like a last-minute vote something anything. Ah, well.

I don't have a tremendous amount of time today, so I suppose I shall go with my gut and listen to Euro. If the last game taught me anything, it's that he knows what he's doing when he's gibbering like a lunatic.

Also, if he suddenly locks on to me after this, he's probably a little furry...
