Look, this is my thought process. I know that Claude and I are not wolves, and while alxeu may be a cultist, he's not a wolf. That leaves alynkio, who apparently tipped off Hax to Voyager's wolfishness, and Capi, who has no such reason to be trusted. The choice, I feel, is obvious, but perhaps alynkio is misleading us.

To be honest, I'm not really sure anymore whether you or alynkio are the last wolf. I'd rather go safe and kill alxeu and leave everything for tomorrow.

To be fair things didn't go well last game they tried that and there was speculation that if they lynched the cultist(me) first useful information would be revealed.
 
Day 8

Agreeing on the old saying, one in the hand is worth two in the bush, you decide to go after the courtier you knew over the hound you didn't. I mean, you had to kill him anyway, right? Why not today? Alxeu was hung and in the process of that, your makeshift gallows gave out. While you may have bought yourself an extra day, there will be nothing easy about tomorrow.

Night 8

You wake up the next morning and come upon the body of Claude. The whole thing fills you with an odd sense of deja vu. Didn't this all happen before? Wasn't he already dead? No matter, you push through the scene looking for any clue of what Claude might be. You find in his arms books detailing the myths of Hel, Persephone, and a great many other underworld myths from other cultures. After a bit more looking you discover a book detailing the rituals of the gravewalker and your questions about his identity are answered. For those who hoped his magic might yet save the village, this was bleak news.
