Description
Graphics are messed up really bad on Mac

What is your game version?
latest, just installed it

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The graphics look all messed up, in pretty psychedelic colours, heh. I'm posting on a new thread because I haven't seen other glitches that look like mine.

I'm running on a Macbook Pro late 2015, 16 GB RAM and AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, each time I start a new game

Wow I thought I had it and on my Mac! Everything is dark or too shiny on mine, but not as bad as yours!

I know, right? :)) This is the first time I'm experiencing anything remotely similar. It's unplayable. ._____.

And I bought the game like 2-3 weeks ago, paid full price for it, figured might as well get the expansions as well, haha. I WAS SO DARN EXCITED!

Wow that's crazy! Mine looks like windows 95. Using my work iMac.. AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB and a Quad Core i5.

I experienced this as well the one time the "easy start" game came up. Some of the land looked right, but some was showing texture issues with rainbow colors, etc. Most of the time though, the game just crashes for me before reaching that stage, usually within about 10 seconds after trying to start a new game.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
2.6 GHz i7
16GB memory
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

Well on the minimum spec side, but still looked to meet all the minimum requirements.

Last-tried display settings: 1400x900, both Fullscreen and Windowed, Low defaults

Edit: Mis -> Mid

Hi,
I can confirm this issue as well.
I have Macbook Pro, mid 2015, running El Capitan 10.11.6
Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
RAM: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Video Integrated: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Video Discreet: AMD Radeon R9 M370X, 2048 MB

Tried lowering or turning off all the Video settings in the game and using the Low profile. Also tried reloading the game several times.
I got the game through Steam.
Other than that I haven't seen any other signs of anything wrong.
I have also opened an official support request, but decided to write here as well.

Thanks for your hard work guys!

This is well below the minimum spec for the game, so any fix for the above issues may not help you, I'm sorry. The game is simply not tested on Intel video systems.

While the devs look into this, try disabling the Steam Overlay for this game, which fixed a similar issue on early Cities:Skylines versions on Mac.

I disabled it and it fixed a few of the weirder bugs I was getting, but the terrain is still all glitched out and flashy.
I was playing with the video settings and it seems like the terrain detail setting causes the most change in terms of how glitchy the terrain is.

Similar issues here, all the spaceships, drones, buildings are super shiny and white and the ground and rocks are almost like inverted colors. Here are my specs: iMac 27" (Late 2013), 3.4Ghz Intel Core i5, 16GB DDR3 Memory, nVidia GeFroce GTX 780M 4GB. This is well within the recommendations to run this game properly. Tried the recommendation above (Turning off the overlay); didn't help whatsoever.
