A little update for those of you waiting patiently.

We are honored to have saffronmar helping us out with making portraits for the mod.

Here is a little preview of the work he is doing on the Gorons:

However 1 thing that we will implement is the cultures of the gerudo and sheikah, which for years have been nothing more than speculation.

BOTW Hyrule isn't that different from the usual, at least in the layout. It actually resembles the ALTTP map a lot. It just adds a bunch of stuff in-between.

After talking about it we've decided to add the 'breath of the wild' hyrule to the game, this required resizing and moving the eastern kingdoms. We've finished readding those that are unchanged, but need to work on the provinces of those kingdoms that have been completely changed, the 'canon' kingdoms haven't experienced anything worst than a decrease by ~10-20% in size.

We have also received goron male portraits, but unfortunately the create is currently unable to finish the female portraits.

Almost all of the hyrule continent , minus Breath of the wild content, is playable. The events and decisions are in desperate needs of (bug) exterminating and being brought up to Jade dragon levels, it is currently not crashing for testing levels but not to be playable.

Do Gorons even have Genders/Sexes? The Gerudo let them into their town whilst excluding known males of any other race, and I can't recall seeing a female Goron in any previous game. Perhaps you could give Gorons a form of Aesexual reproduction?

As it stands now no DLC is required, but I REALLY recommend the cuman and persian because 2 hylian cultures use them, but I will make an alternative to them. I also really recommend the Monks and mystics as it allows you to have items, though the VIP items, i.e. Master Sword is handled as a trait to avoid requiring a DLC.

EDIT: Artifacts do not require Monks and Mystics.

The goron in Breath of the wild said they let him in because they mistook him for a woman. OOT Manga had a goron calling one "mother". So we have been going with the goron males and females look similar, though only the males have great beards, the women only have pathetic bears.

As far as i am aware the artifact system was part of the free update, if it is you will be able to use it even without the M&M.
 
Not sure but it seems like this may be stalled out or moving so slowly that the PDX expansions and com-patching are becoming detrimental to progress.

Hope I'm wrong because this seems to be the fate of numerous ambitious overhauls.
