Welcome, all - to the mega campaign that is the story of the Wendish Empire - after Victoria 2 the Polish Empire! :D

This started in CK3 (read it here), continued in EU4 (my first EU4 AAR ever, read it here). And then we got the third installment in Victoria 2 (read it here)

Due to me not being comfortable with HoI, I've decided to move the story up to 2200/Stellaris! :D Right now I have one chapter left to write in the Victoria 2 portion, and depending on how my busy life develops, I hope to write the first chapter in the Stellaris section in a week or two.

BUT! Before that I need to create my species. :) I thought I'd ask you, my loyal readAARs, what you think of my setup. How does it match up to my story so far? I have some ideas, but wanted to hear if anyone had any good tips to give. :) This is not an interactive AAR, but I am willing to listen to advice before I start. :)

As for settings: Difficulty level will not be high. Probably normal or lower. I just like it that way in my games. :) I have a very good PC, so I want a big galaxy. I am unsure on what settings to have for colonizable planets, but want a lot of primitives. I will not use mods. Too many problems with mods and Stellaris in particular, but also PDS games in general. Saves have a tendency to misbehave. :p I will probably turn off ancient empires, but not decided yet. I will, however, turn off end game crisis, I absolutely loathe the disruption they cause to a perfectly fun game. ;)

Anyhow, to the species. They are humans, of course. These are the traits I am thinking of.

And my ethics and civics:

I think these settings are pretty okay for my portrayal of the Empire. :)

Well, see you soon!

Certainly seems fitting with the rest of the campaign.

Clearly I've missed something the whole megacampaign, so I'm just going to assume Poland got sick and tired of being history's punching bag and the Galaxy is about to suffer the consequences.

My dear Metacavity, I have linked the AARs above. Please read! :D There's 13 chapters in CK3, 12 chapters in EU4 and it will be 11 chapters in Vicky2 when I am finished. None are 1/5th of the length of your chapters, promise. :p Short story Poland got stronk in CK3 and became the Wendish Empire, got stronker in EU4, but didn't expand much in Europe, lost almost all colonies in Vicky2, but got extremely stronk nevertheless, and renamed itself to Poland.

Just marathoned Chronicles of Poland over on the CK3 AARland. I'll battle my way back to this point in time!

You sir, are a gentleman and a legend.

How are you handling the transition? 1936 to 2200 has a lot of room for change.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the default traits Stellaris has for Humans...
I have a word page with notes on the ideas for the next centuries until 2200. :) I plan to write out one or more chapters telling the major developments between,,

Wow...from ck3 to stellaris already...wow. That's some great efficiency. I should aswell move my ass, finish the modding for my own megacampaign too and stop getting lost in sideprojects and side modding. I guess i'll be reading the previous parts before coming back here. That said, wish you luck with this part too!!

I'm back! I've read through the previous 3 installments. I won't pretend to understand Victoria 2, but the CK3 AAR was interesting.

Your EU4 playthrough hit a little close to home, literally: Emperor Pelka IV kicked off his reign by invading the specific part of Michigan I happen to live in. We had it bad enough when the Canadians rolled through in 1813, you know! ;)

It has gone fast, indeed! Hope to see you around again soon!

Thanks! :D CK3 portion was my favorite so far.

Emperor Pelka IV apologizes from the grave. ;)

I have suggestion for you to maybe change colours of your nation in Stellaris add some polish red and white, but it's your decision :)
Like this? : :)

Wow! you even added eagle GG ^^
Jokes aside I think 2 headed eagle could be reference to imperiality and roman/byzantine connections of old (similar to OTL Russia) :)
Yeah, I worked on the backstory and the civs the other day. I have played the first year or so. I plan to write the update bridging V2 and Stellaris next (last update for V2 was out earlier today). I am unsure on some details I ended up with, but I think I will roll with it. My forte is not world building when the game does not give the frame work. :p

Yes! Every time I forgot to write that Stellaris has this badass eagle, perfectly suited for Poland.
I'm glad you like it! :) First update up in a minute.
