As has been mentioned several times that doesn't make sense. All these other games have done ps5 upgrades no problem but somehow CS Remastered is different. Ive played The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk PS5 Upgrades using ps4 disc no problem at all.

Would prefer Paradox to be honest and say its a money making scheme then spout BS

And we have several examples that it is possible for Playstation to have a free next gen upgrade even with a disc version.

As an owner of the dics version I would also very like to know the reason why this hould not be possible, even though others can do that.
I know it can be done but the cost to the developers might not be worth it, my guess is they would have to pay Sony a certain amount for each disc user that's upgraded.

My point was on Xbox it doesn't need to work that way due to smart delivery. Many smaller studios have done it. It's basically a big F You to people that bought disc copies on day one and since launch. It just means I'll have to think twice about buying any paradox games in future along with any more Dlc

I actually feel sorry for the staff here on the forum they're the ones taking all the flak while the developers take zero notice. Perhaps one of the Devs should take the time to explain why disc owners can't get the upgrade because we all know there is no technical reason that it can't be done so it must be a financial reason and are trying to get those sales numbers up

Any information regarding Console Mods ?(XSX), it used to be on the main menu on the now older Cities Skylines version but it’s not on remastered
My guess is that since the mods were created by creators in the community, they weren't able to get the creators to upscale their assets. At least not at this time. It may also be that they'd also have to pay the creators to have them unscaled.

If you choose to unlock 25 tiles before you start does that keep you from earning milestone unique buildings? I guess my follow up to that is when you reach the final milestone at 65k population, does give you the option to unlock the rest of the tiles?

According to one of the recent videos on their YouTube channel, there's no set date yet, though they have said they hope to have the remaining DLC remastered in the next few months.

Has anybody from paradox made a comment as to why they decided to release this in a half finished state? I'm trying to be charitable here but was anybody chomping at the bit to play an up-resed version of vanilla Cities?

Asking physical buyers to pay extra to get a lesser version of the game is just the icing on the cake.

As an Xbox user, I'm delighted with the progress of the remastered version. Day one only a few DLC visible but now Day two I seem to have all my previously purchased DLC from the marketplace, bar a couple. The action is smooth, the map is gigantic and all seems well. I'm certainly having to work hard exercising my grey cells in visualising the numbers of townships and fishing ports, and just remembering where I put what. Excellent!!!!

Please can you update the milestone rewards so that they offer 2 or 3 tiles and on the final Milestone the rest of the 25 tiles will be obtained, this way the 25 tile unlock doesn’t have to be gained via a cheat button.

please please include water placement in the Landscaping tools

I have this game on xbox one and it states I can download the game as long as I play it through cloud based play.

So will this actually work with all 25 tiles as long as it's cloud based or can the Co sole not support it at all?

Players on Xbox Series X|S can install the game onto the console and have access to 25 tiles without having to play through the cloud. Only players on Xbox One consoles have to play the game through the cloud.

That's what I'm asking, I know I'll have to pay for ultimate pass to access cloud gaming but does that mean I'll get access to all the New features or can my console not handle the newer version all together.
