*Long Sigh*

Of course my scan target targets me on day one! That's just my luck.

I know what you are, Aedan. I'm not voting for you because of this knowledge. Others should also avoid voting for Aedan, because he is more valuable as a hunt target than a distraction for the village.

Let's look at the dead villager's statements from right before their untimely death.

Welcome to the towncore! I hope you enjoy your stay! :)

Also, WEREWOOOOLFFFFF!!!
Addresses Aedan's comments on flavor with some flavor of their own. I admire the enthusiasm. I wish we could have heard more from this now dead villager. Perhaps we can still learn from what they left behind.
Just to refresh my memory (and for new players): day 1 votes don't result in anything, right?
And votes are strictly mandatory every day, right?
This is the kind of rules clarification that can spawn interesting asides and generate ideas for playing the game in new ways.
Vote Arkasas
He clearly is a liar!

also, where is my wallet?
Would a hypervigilant wolf put in an order at the last minute targeting a hyperactive villager?

I ask the question, and invite others to join me.

Vote Arkasas

Obviously the wolf responsible for this heinous murder is...

flips through player list

Euro of course, having avoided any connection with his hunt target.
You neglected the deep connection I have to spammers far and wide. I will fight for this dead villager. I invite you to join forces with me, as a semi-cleared, and put your powerful abilities to work for everyone, not only your anti-Euro prejudices!

Truly when I think "hypervigilant wolf" I think Arkasas.

Possible miscommunication. I mean hypervigilant (derogatory)

A wolf prone to reactionary moves like hunting whoever even looks at them funny.

Your ‘scan target’, Marshall, targeted you by dying? This is both textbook narcissism and a fundamental misunderstanding of your role as a wolf

its main usage is describing a symptom of PTSD. Which you would know if you were a real doctor

I think your case against Arkasas sucks but since it is day 2 and there is a 1/3-1/4 chance he’s evil anyway:

Vote Arkasas

I will probably change it later if I can be bothered. I would like arky to live longer even if he is a wolf

So you heal hypervigilant werewolves, do you, doc? What's that bunch of letters, some of your healing spells for werewolves to heal and help them, huh?

I believe Euro was referring to aedan as his scan target.

Isn't it Day 1 not Day 2?

Vote EUROO7

TIE for the TIE gods.

Buddy, I wrote the book on narcissism, so if you don't like it, write your own and remember to credit me for inspiring you.

@my many haters: I am keeping a list of everything you say and do. If you have something to hide, I will find it and expose you to the village before you can tie the noose of hate around my neck. Long Live the Village!

I’m currently writing my preliminary take on the situation. Might take a few minutes.

Given what we know, I can think of a few possible scenarios:

1) Euro is a goodie, has correctly cleared aedan as a goodie.
2) Euro is a goodie, has incorrectly cleared aedan as a goodie.
3) Euro is a goodie, has lied about scanning aedan (I will literally resign if this one ends up happening)
4) Euro is a baddie, has cleared aedan as a baddie
5) Euro is a baddie, has correctly cleared aedan as a goodie
6) Euro is a baddie, has incorrectly cleared aedan as a goodie
7) Euro is a baddie, has lied about scanning aedan

Ultimately, I’m leaning towards 1, 2, or 7. Euro knows better than to fake clear someone as a villager, and a baddie would gain very little advantage from publicly revealing that they’d scanned someone. Aedan and Euro have always known what they’re doing though, so it’s possible they’re just playing mind games. However, I’m definitely getting villager vibes here.

Huh. The interesting people are actually interesting. Nice to see a bit of early commentary, even though it seems mostly filler and banter at present. Like Grimlock's post, dislike Ironhide's vote, but not enough to vote him yet.

Vote Dedonus

I'm voting any currently non-responsive interesting people until they post/vote in thread.

6) Euro is a baddie, has incorrectly cleared aedan as a goodie
7) Euro is a baddie, has lied about scanning aedan
I'm struggling to understand why there are four options under the Euro is a baddie sub-heading. Surely there are only 3: aedan scanned bad, aedan scanned good, aedan was not scanned. Or are (4) and (7) merely versions of the not scanning, with (4) being Euro using a pre-existing relationship and (7) being Euro just messing with our heads? Either way, better something than nothing. Therefore, a triple tie for the tie gods?

Scenario 8) Euro is a very nasty guy

Scenario 8 was an implied fact in scenarios 1-7

Most scans aren’t infallible, so the difference is wether or not aedan actually IS a goodie.
(priests can detect wolves, but not cultists, for example.)

Other way around for priests.
