Bringing all the bugs to light so that you can investigate and fix them is faster with ten thousand external users playing the game the way they want to, than with fifty internal users playing the game the way the test plan says it should be played.

You mean like the "invade primitives" bug that was discovered early in the beta?.. oh wait..

  • Luxury Housing, Drone Storage, and Hive Warrens grant 1500 housing and 2500 amenities.
  • Paradise Domes, Upgraded Drone Storage, and Expanded Warrens grant 3000 housing and 5000 amenities.

Wilderness version ("Avatar Cradle") still only gives a couple hundred, rather than a couple thousand.

Well, if they missed the things that are so obvious (like gestalts not having a worker- or complex-stratum amenities job, and maintenance drones being civilian stratum and therefore automatically taking other jobs, which leaves you with negative amenities)... one can wonder if they really played as a normal hivemind (which should be the focus of a bio-themed expansion).

Also when the Wilderness will be fixed? Workforce calculations after 1000+ seems to be still broken, only first drone counts as 1000 workforce and after that game just adds random number to fiil the rest.
afther i removed the job focus on 1 job it started to fill my homeworld again afther a time dunno if i got lucky or they fixed the problem

Logistics drones now produce additional amenities if Instinctive Synchronization is taken
Does this apply to the machine intelligence version of that tradition, or just hives? Between the broken machine world changes like lack of housing from secondary nexus districts and jobs not being doubled by the perk, lack of access to automation (as far as I can tell), and amenities situation, machine intelligences are feeling rooough at the moment.

you don't get maintenance drones and your logistic workers cannot sustain the amenities demands at all, until they buff the buildings it's unplayable as you'll have a very big amenities deficit on every planet, when the gestalt buildings get buffed to the same level as the luxury apartments you will still need to use 3 to 4 building slots on them to go positive but at least you can do somethign about it. If you still want to play them right now you could go an mod the values on the buildings yourself, it's just about adding some 0 to their values
Thanks, although I should say I play Virtual as non gestalt machine, which naturally doesn't use maintenance drones to begin with and instead uses civilians

If you have the Consume option selected, the situation should progress faster per species that is actively being purged. It doesn't give progress for each individual pop purged. This is by design.
As the other user mentioned, that function is not currently working. However, that also just feels kind of bad to not give some amount of progress for destroying a pop. For a genocidal empire, instead of having their own way to get a reasonable amount of situation progress, they have a worse way where they're encouraged to do single planet purge stacking to slow purge rates(which is and always has been silly), whereas all a nongenocidal has to do is keep a copy or two of everyone they come across. On the other hand, having the situation progress scale with dead pops feels like it would be incredibly hard to make fair, so I understand in theory.

But, if we are purging one planet, we can easily calculate exactly how much situation progress a pop is worth, just divide the progress by the amount of pops purged, so why not just cut out the middle man? It would also prevent Galactic Nemesis from crippling the system.

Not Being able to tell what the bottom districts are specialised in on a machine world, without having to click on it and see what's been built, seems very unintuitive.

Would also like to add that ammeneties still seem far too low for gestalts. Why cant't the nexus district just provide a few jobs producing ammeneties as with the old versions of the game?

Not sure if this has been reported but when taking any of the the leader starting level increases from any source, any leader that starts at levels 4 and above are not allowed to pick their class / trait and thus is unable to receive more traits.

The luminary traits have random errors throughout all their traits, either it being blank information, random spaces, or missing information strings.

While pretty game breaking, that's really funny. They start off too strong and become complacent.
