galactic federation crisis

Hello,

I have a question about the Galactic Council. Currently the Council is to vote on a realm, whether it should be declared a crisis (in which all members of the galatic council will declare war on them). This realm is not in the council and an AI with swarm consciousness. However, this realm is in a Federation with another AI, who is in the Galactic Council. In a total war, will the AI disband it's support and then attack it's former colleague?

I'm pretty sure the crisis-declared faction would get booted out of the federation.. or the federation may have to take an internal vote on whether to boot them out or leave the galactic council. Not 100% sure. Save the game or export a copy of the ironman save, then go for it for the sake of science and let us know the results!
