Can you attach media from Giphy?

It says you can in the "insert media" button, but trying (with the giphy share option or the image location) just complains that "The specified URL cannot be embedded as media." Am I missing a step? Or do gifs just not go up on this forum?

EDIT: I tried inserting it as an image and now it's complaining about being possibly-spam.

I'd suspect you have the issue, as you ony have three posts by now.
You need a bit more to post links. Anti-spam measure.
That's the usual effect with such a low post count.

I posted it as an image, not as media.
So maybe that's been your problem.

Well,....you need to be qualified for that.

A good dozen 'proper' discussion posts should suffice. OT subforum posts don't count.
Spamming threads/posts for that purpose is prohibited and gets you the attention of the moderators.
Just so you know.

Maybe contribute something to the discussions for Victoria 3 then.
First have some proper discussions, once done its time to go silly afterwards.
Effort first, ice cream later....or so....
I'm sure there are enough opportunities.
