Launcher Fails to Install

Can't install the launcher for any pdx game on my fresh install of Win11, I get the that C:\\Windows\Installer\MSI6C4B.tmp isn't a valid win32 app.
Tried creating the Installer folder but windows just purges it, I also tried the Microsoft install/ uninstall troubleshooter.
Any other steps I can take?

Are you saying C:\Windows\Installer\ is not there? Note that to see that folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

If it is in fact there, empty it out and try the launcher again.

Odd, today it works just fine.
