Hi everyone,

I'm working on an idea for a mod that adds a story to the Sanctuary system, but am rather stuck at the first hurdle. What I'm trying to do is to pacify the ships so that a dialogue may be entered into, to get a story started. However, I can't see anywhere in the files where the Sanctuary system AI is initialised or set up.

The system itself is created in the pre_ftl_initializers.txt file; and the quick chat you have with the automated station is in galactic_features_events.txt; and events_l_<language>.yml; but I can't see anything about the AI personality that controls the station that attacks you.

I tried playing as that country with debugtooltips enabled, but that didn't give any insights.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It doesn't have one. The country that controls them is just set to hostile, likely in the country_type definition.
