Getting this error today out of nowhere at the launcher screen. Can't press Resume or Play. I was playing last night no problem. I've made sure Windows and graphics drivers have been updated, didn't help.

Just delete imperator.exe then run a Steam Verify operation against the game.
Then add imoperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
