1.03- Flag Display

playing my first game in 1.03, this time as russia.

i noticed that the flags all non-european countries are shortened in the "crest" display when you click on any of those countries. the flag only comes half-way down in the oval, and is slightly compressed.

also, the display of the flags in the countries allies button (where it shows at war and allies) is also scrunched together, as if it's trying to pack the whole flag in a smaller area.

addendum- the second save->exit->reload sequence cleared up the problem.

must've just been a graphics glitch somewhere.

Yeah, there's a graphics glitch when other programs - for example your modem driver or instant messaging program - interrupt the loading process. I've experienced it several times, being that my computer is the modem-to-Internet gateway for our house LAN.

As long as you get from your desktop to the game map uninterrupted, there should be no problems of this type.
