During my latest war, my fleet did a few things that are quite strange, like this:

Yes, it is a single fleet, indicated by the 5k on the middle of nothing. But this one was worse:

They just stood there, inside range for only a disruptor that a single "Raider-class" ship has, taking fire for about a month, until I retreated taking 25% damage.
This is the design of all ships:

Is it a defensive computer behavior or just a bug? Can I get some light on this?

I'm starting to think that the defensive computer is actually the source of most of our woes with regards to the battle system. It seems like the others behave well most of the time, but defensive fails us, especially when against defensive or stationary targets.

I hope it this happens because it is the "basic" version of the computer, but in 81 years of gameplay it is the first time this happens, and it happened in the same war against a federation, to make matters worse.

This is a massive problem, this bug essentially causes your fleet to become disabled, unable to give it orders. Even retreat can bug out with this as well, meaning your fleet becomes a sitting duck for the enemy.

I'm not sure what the trigger is, Advanced Defensive computer might be a cause, but it always costs me my entire fleet. Here is a great example of it in EE's video:
(watch to the end).

If this isn't fixed in Clarke, I'm going to be really disappointed, totally game breaking.
