The italian navy has several very fast CLs. The command maxspeed is used to give them in the game the high speed they had in reality. But sadly once I start the game and look at my fast cruisers I'm no longer excited because they're as slow as all the others cruisers of the same class. It seems that this command doesn't work as designed.

Dear me... You know, in HoI 1 this did indeed work, I remember well enough when I always used to increase the HMS Hood's speed! But sadly, from HoI II and upwards, it no longer works, and it appears not to work even in AoD...

Sadly I discovered only recently the existence of this command. It's an interesting feature which has great potential.

If possible I'd prefer that both ships and planes have a maximum speed and a cruising speed. Then we could use historical correct stats for both. Especially during combat the differences between these stats of the adversaries might have a big influence on the outcome of the battle.
