1.05 won't install

I have a problem with patch 1.05 scandinavian update, it just won't install! It says that I haven't installed HoI...but how am I then able to play the game?

What to do?

I reinstalled the game, plain and simple as that. A few months ago my cpu had a nervous breakdown and I had to reinstall my Windows again. That meant that the entire list of which programs I had on my computer was deleted and thats why I got the message that I hadn't installed HoI. But since HoI wasn't removed I didn't think of that.
