First off, I think HOI and EU2 are outstanding games. And I consider myself very fortuante to have them becasue I'm on the macintosh platform.

But, before this gets locked away in the cyber-dungeon, I'd like to make a non-invasive request, respectfully so.

We, actually a fella in England, have crafted a mod installer for the mac version of HOI and EU2. Those modes that alter code, leave us out in the cold so to speak. We have been able to install C.O.R.E. and Stony Road w/ this mod installer. The coded moddir wasn't effective for these mods, for whatever reasons. A big reason for our success was securing the raw data files from their creators.

My question is, should/could this mod installer of ours work w/ the 1.05c tweak patch? I ran it through the installer, but the version name remained the same (1.05b). Is it possible that wouldn't change? I did notice the PC HOI.exe is in the data files folder, and I'm betting it holds the key for this to be a successful method for us keeping apace w/ the PC version. Any thoughts from your side of the fence? If the HOI.exe is the key, can we get access to its raw data files for our installer? Our would the PC code first need to be rewriiten w/ MacDX (Coderus)?

Thanks .

Your joking right.
You want the source code for the game, no chance of that happening.

Now that you mention it, I guess that is what I was asking. Didn't think of it in those terms. Oh well.

Just hope they release a Mac 1.06.

Alright, alright, stop making fun of me! ;)

Johan said they'll give the code to VPL once 1.06 is official.

That's good news for the MAC crowd.
