1.06 DE Patch Problems

Hi, I just installed the 1.06 patch and the game now crashes once it reaches the initialization section of the startup (after the Blackstar logo and intro movie). I previously had the 1.05b patch which worked fine other than a random crash only while playing Poland. I reinstalled and put the 1.05b patch back on and the game will run again. My system setup is as follows:
IBM Thinkpad 600X
Windows NT 4.0
128 Megs RAM
Pentium III

Well, I have installed the patch 1.07 DE and the game crashes after initialization of a game or within the first seconds of the game.

DELL Inspiron 3500
Pentium II
Windows 98
192 MB RAM

I probably have to give the game back, since I could not play it on my computer as long as I have it. Sorry.

Same problem with 1.06DE here. I though it was due to my ancient drivers, so I´m pleased to see that this problem occurs on newer computers as well. BTW 1.06DE works fine on my brothers AMD K6-2 500.
