Ok, I tried installing the 1.09 patch. However every time I try to load the game, it says there is an error in the DB. So I click abort/retry/ignore whatever, and it says
ERROR in
Program files/Typhoon games/Eu2/ normal.exe

Any idea what this means? Is there some thing I need to when installing an EU2 patch that I might not know?

I reinstalled EU2 and then tried again. With downloads from various other sites. So I don't think its because my download is corrupt. Oh and I'm using patch 1.04, if that makes any difference.

Paradox does not do the support for the Typhoon version, you would need to contact them for patches, as they do their own patches to be compatible with their version.
 
Really? So if I want to patch to 1.09 I need to find the Typhoon patch? Not the Paradox one? Any ideas where I could get that?
 
I do not think they released a 1.09, you woul dneed to contact them.
