This happens with both my mod, the three other mods I've tried on the workshop and the minimal 'do nothing' mod I've stripped right down to nothing to find out what was causing this in my mod.

Steps to reproduce.

- Unsubscribe to any CK2 mods you may be subscribed to on Steam Workshop
- backup your current mod folder
- empty your mod folder
- Subscribe to a mod on Steam Workshop
- Start CK2

On subsequent restarts, the CTD won't happen, but the mod isn't listed in the launcher either.

In addition: I noticed some bugs that may be related; although crashing still occurs when I try to fix them manually. Edit: due to still being subscribed to a mod..
This is my original post: link

1. Dependencies break when changing the title (dependency doesn't get changed along witht he titles)
2. Every mod file gets an extra bracket.

Mind that this is when trying to start the original files.
To reproduce:
1. make a dependent mod pair
2. upload with a different title (first one is the important one of course)
3. Restart the game

same to me as described @many other threads.
f.e. here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?765032-Problems-on-Steam-Workshop-s-mods

the (unknown from EU4) prob with overwriting the .mod-file on publishing the MOD i found, too.

the file before uploading:
Code:
name="Female German Nicks"
path="mod/FemaleGermanNicks"
tags=
{
Translation
Fixes
}
picture="GerFemNick.png"

and here the same file on MY modfolder! after upload:
Code:
	name="Female German Nicks"
	path="mod/FemaleGermanNicks"
	tags=
	{
Translation Fixes 	}
	picture="GerFemNick.png"
}
