Okay the title sounds a bit snarkier than intended, but I wondered; is there a plan to release 3.2 eventually? Just wondering since it tends to be one of those games I have the mac version of and Virtual Programming only releases patches when they're officially released.

I think they would want to finish up 2.1 before doing anyting ;) ... but since they can't find the cause of the crash dumps that people reported, it is doubtful that Johan will close the beta. Otherwise he would have done so 2 years ago.

Sorry mate .. seems Mac owners are out of luck until CK2 comes out.

Which seems bit silly. Current beta is pretty much the final product, so he could just wrap it up. Few people reported mystery CTDs, but in most computers beta patch worked fine and dandy and fixed stability and other issues of unpatched Deus Vult.

I don't disagree with you ... but I think it is a matter of principal for Johan :) .... I believe he has said on past occassions that he will not close a beta patch with a known bug. But they will probably never find it and might as well close it so Mac users can get a port of the patch, since they are stuck on 2.0 until then.
