hey guys

a friend of mine can join our online games, however his brother, who is on another computer on his network, wants to play also. but even though my friend connects to my ip easy, his brother gets a 'no host' error. he has the same version. any ideas?

peace

how is their network set up?

Depending on how the network works, it might be harder or easier to set it up correctly to work with both, but it's certainly possible. (Personally have done so using Windows XP's inbuilt Internet Connection Sharing)

hmm hamach might be the answer. theyre both sharin the same net connection, but only one of them can join our online game (the other gets a no host error)

does hamachi support hoi2? and is there any special instructions i need to give it??

One of you buddies should be the host for the game. That way you can connect to the host by an Internet IP, and your buddy's friend can connect to the game as if it were a LAN game, or by typing in the host machine's local LAN IP address (usually 192.168.x.x) into the IP field for an Internet game.

Maybe this will work.
