1.02 "Your child..."-events happening to others

Well, in my current game I got the event "Your child seems to have taken interest in wild parties". The odd thing is that it didn't fire for my character's child, but for his wife(who was a few years older than him, too :D).

Bug or not, it's a bit weird :)

Something similar to me: the event "your child likes parties" happened to my wife, not to my daughter; but after this time, it worked well.

the identical thing happened to me too, king is 18, queen 21, it only triggers for the queen, not children... the only explanation is if she calls him daddy... but they don't have the lustful trait yet...

I did not see this thread so I dup. it in this http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142850

Never the less I would like to add a futher case. These events can happen for your brothers wifes too!!! (brothers you have in the court)

i checked the save game. spouses father id does not match the childs_father id. the childs_father id is not the father, but liege, and since wives tend to be older than children, they get these events mostly.

check the childs_father routine, something is not working right

You only get childs_father tags when a woman is pregnant; it indicates the father of the unborn child (so if the woman is married to the liegelord of the court, the childs_father will be the liege, no problem.) The event tests if the 15-25 year old person is a ruler_child, but that only indicates that the person's father is a ruler, not necessarily the ruler in their current court. I don't think there is (currently) a way to test for the child of the ruler of this particular court; maybe one could be added, or the event text changed, perhaps from "Your child" to "A young person in your court."

no, you did not get me right. the king is 16, queen 20, after marriage, she gets her childs_father id changed to her husbands/liege id.

unless there is a secret event that a witch sent the king 20 years in the past, he 'hooked up' with his future mother in law and then returned tot the present with no memory of this whatsoever, then this is definitively a bug.

childs_father id gets changed into liege_id after marriage. bug.

Yup, spouses and such still get the events in 1.02.

Yep - even had it happen to a (young) son-in-law.

actually, i never got these events in 1.01, only in 1.02

Fixed in 1.03
