I've bought every expansion that isn't a radio or natural disasters (yet) but with all these additions it's hard to make a City that's big enough to support all the new great additions. Next free update, would love to see PS4/PS5 and Xbox one (Series X/S) get 25 tiles instead of 9.

You will never get any tile upgrade for this game as Colossal Order has said they won't do it. Not necessary to ask for it here.. do a search for such threads and you will find plenty of similar topics.

I know. Surely the more we ask the more likely we are to get it, especially with the addition of the parks and plazas update and definitely the airports dlc because of how much space they can take up. It just makes sense that they would allow us access to all 25.

It would make sense, but CO confirmed that they won't be doing it in some Airports DLC stream. I unfortunately wasn't able to find it, but there they probably say reasons. Like, if there wouldn't be a reason, why wouldn't they already add it?

That makes sense, consoles couldn't handle it and if you would allow it only for PC (which can use mods if you aren't on Epic), it would be a really big problem for the already existing imbalance.

Hey I've often stated that myself but with the console the way it is hardwired the teams at Paradox and Cities said it isn't possible...Yet.

Using a 25 tile support for consoles will cause the consoles to break due to performance limitations.
If a Cities Skylines 2 is released, support for 25 tiles should be included (without mods) for all platforms. And the game should be released with a newer version of Unity.

Even the old base game maps have huge amounts of resources outside of the tiles you can purchase.

I guess achievements are linked to only having 9 tiles but it feels like 25 should be an in-game mod.
