So I was looking at my 2nd ID deck and had a few questions or was looking for input.

The first question is:
I have another slot for infantry and wondered what was the best or most viable pick. The three candidates are usually an extra card of RGR assaults, 50 cal, or rifle leader.

Second question: between A phase DD, the M7 DD, and T30 which two are the most efficient?

Lastly: what’s the air tab like? Is it worth bringing in P38s in A and gabby AND p47 ASF?

Thanks,

Imo: bring all the rgr assaults and shermans dd in A you can get. As for fighters, depends, in 1v1 I'd bring the phase A lightinings and gabi, in team games the phase b thunderbolds and gabi cos you want the extra quality/availability.

I go with two cards of leaders (1x Ranger Leader and 1x Rifle Leader), both of the Ranger Assaults and the rest Rifles. I don't think it's worth picking the .50 cal over more Rifles when you have so much fire support as 2ID anyways, although it's useful to stick the .50 cal into into houses and especially bunkers

I think you need at least one M4DD in phase A. And you should definately have both of the M7DDs, especially if you are up against 16LW.

Yeah you have tanks and vehicles that have 50 cals so no need to use your infantry slot for it. Stick with Rgr 30 cal to pin down enemy infantry.
The Ranger .30 Cal is horrendous, even before its past Nerf it was struggling along in a meta of 800m range MGs, but now it lacks the durability to stand-up for any prolonged engagement. I would highly suggest swapping out a .50 Cal for the Rangers.

Yeah just played the 2nd infantry. 30 cal is horrible. Don't remember it to be that horrible though.

Yes I've just recently played 2nd Infantry, drop .30 cal and just get two Rgr Support, it's a much better unit because .30 cal is quite shit even for pinning down infantry.
