320 M IGP card for laptop

Anyone playing the game with this? It's a built in card with no new drivers for a long time. I know it's the reason that I couldn't play Patrician III (the card was made for an earlier version of directX - or so the folks at Ascaron told me) , despite it being a pretty 'light' game system-wise. I'm wondering if it's the source of my problems - CTDs etc.
On the other hand, Vicky, HOI, and EU2 all work fine. mmmm So if anything is running anything similar let me know. Thanks for any input.

Nope, this IGP is not the reason behind your CTD's, that i can say for sure. BTW, you CAN play patrician III with this card and it has updated drivers, just go to ATI page(www.ati.com) and download latest catalyst drivers!

I wasn't sure if the catalyst drivers would work - the documentation seemed kind of confusing and almost implied that I'd have to do it through the HP site (my computer). I'll look into into it more carefully. Thanks

Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
4) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.
