Bastard son causes prestige to drop when he doesn't have land

According to the game prestige is what your peers think of you. Also, according to law, Bastards are not supposed to inherit. If this is true then why, when my bastard son reaches 16 does my prestige take a -0.1 hit each month for not giving him land. I understand this for legitimate sons, but this has to be wrong for bastards.

By my prestige going down for this, that is saying that my peers are looking down on me for not giving my bastard son land and titles when according to law and custom, you would think my peers would look down on me if I "did" give my bastard son land.

Oi!

You won't look after your own flesh and blood? :D

I suspect a bug here. Perhaps some more opinion is in order...

Hmmm... I've never seen that, probably because i f12 kill anyone born w/ "bastard" in my court or my heir's court.

Btw, bastard are really annoying, usually very low stats and i often accidentally marry one to my daughter. They should put a big all caps BASTARD title in front of their names.

I would say it's a bug.

I log it.

Thanks, :)
