Duke of Lorraine Confusion

Reposted (and rephrased) from another thread:

In the 1066 scenario, the Duke of Upper Lorraine is Godfried.

However, according to my sources, Godfrey II (aka Godfried in the game) had the title Duke of Lower Lorraine. Upper Lorraine had passed to Gerard of Metz aka Gerard de Lorraine in 1048 until 1070 when it passed to Thierry II de Lorraine. Yet no such person exists in the game. Metz is a bisphoric run by "Theobald of Roma".

This somewhat begs the question of exactly where Godfrey II ruled from; Lorraine or in the lower countries. If it's in Lorraine then I can see why they'd stick him as Duke of Upper Lorraine. But if it was elsewhere, then he should be ruling another duchy and be Duke of Lower Lorraine...

I would also submit that, if the game is simply abstracting this, then you might as well give Godfried the title of Duke of Lower Lorraine as well, since when the game starts no one holds that title, even though he has vassals that cover some of that territory.
