Empire falling syndrome's cause: missing chancellors (1.02)

I saw this as main cause of falling of the empires: for some time (few months usually), Kings or Emperor don't substitute the dead chancellor: this cuases many vassals to revolt in the same time. When finally AI replaces the dead chancellor, it's too late.

Interesting.

I think we forget to log this one: Done.

Could other confirm that the AI is sometimes not appointing positions even if it has enough courtiers ?

While I have not personally witnessed a country fall apart due to a lack of a Chancellor, I have witnessed the AI fail to appoint a new Advisor that has left. I discussed it briefly in this post:
