A new game is being started in which ten players will lead one country, Milan through a grand campaign. Each players will rule the country for 40 years before passing the game onto the next. Afterwards each players will write an AAR. Before each player begins their reign they should not have read the AAR of the game at all so that once they begin to play everything is new to them.

The aim of the game is to see the different paths different players can take and the results. Not reading the AAR until after having played is important to make sure players are not influenced by those before them.

One game has already been played as Poland (click here for AAR).

These are the players for the game in order

Players

mrboo123
Christensen
stnylan
Nagel
Seen
Grundius
smt
Duke of Wellington
Snake IV
Lurken

Subs

Fnuco

We will be using Standard map, Patch 1.09 and AGCEEP 1.40

Count me in.

Note to new players: there are but few rules we have set in our previous games as Venice and Poland, yet the one golden rule that applies is:

Do not read the AAR until you have completed your own reign.

Just so that is clear :D.

Welcome aboard you two :) . Please read and really take in the rule Grundius has stated. It is the core concept of this game. Theres only one more space left in the ten but experience suggests someone will drop out so if the last space is already gone feel free to add your name to a sub list.

I've added you to the list smt. That makes ten

Excellent. Let's get this show on the road :D.

BTW, Duke, I did not see you posting on the do-not-read-previous-AAR thing. I'd better get some sleep to clear the eyes ;) . Anyway, nobody can miss it now, can they?

Oh sure, start a new thread on me. :) Make me work hard to keep up with the posts and threads. :p

In the OTHER thread, Grundius suggested a random drawing. I suppose I'm up for that, but, er, no I'm not. HAHA.

It looked like some of our newer teammates (welcome aboard friends) were newer players (based on thread count--not always accurate). My only point about mentioning that is since Milan is minor in a pretty hot environment, a newer player might struggle at the very start.

Also, I'd be better off going at the end (not the last, but at least last 3). My work is very busy right now and I'd not want to blow our early progress.

dammit i always notice these games too late :(

Based on my post count, I'm a noob, but I've been playing EU2 since 2004. My best game was when as Bandinburg, I conquer Germany, and set up a bunch of colonies in NA.

Damn you're quick Duke with setting up this new thread. Happy birthday btw (or am I mistaken?).
So, what's the order of reigning Milan? Who's gonna kick it off?
