Lovely city sprawl right there, the city size is just enough to give the sense of the vastness of the nation yet still being so detailed.
Love to see the new city change personally.

They haven't actually changed the size, they "re-arragnged" them to look more compact, look at Constantinople and Chalkedon here,The first one is before and the second one is after

It definetly looks better, but I still think that the building models(beside the harbours) could be smaller, I also think that most rural locations should have little to no building models on the map as it's nice to see swaths of empty land from time to time(maybe where there's low development)

B.. b.... but the buildings looks smaller??? Also seems like the latter image contains way more buildings than the former.
Also notice the little farm buildings and port logs, they look way smaller than before.
